2014 The Water Witch

This wine is a homage to the ancient craft of dowsing thatmade Stagecoach Vineyard and Krupp Brothers possible. With a satiny entry, the Water Witch brims with aromas of ripe red cherry, rose petal, toasted oak and a hint of sage. Vibrant flavors of raspberry and plum coupled with cinnamon, clove and cedar carry through balanced acidity and supple, rounded tannins. The 2014 vintage saw early bud break and a consistently warm spring and summer leading to an early harvest characterized by even ripening and mature tannins. Pair with grilled spiced lamb chops with vegetable ragout and chicken and chorizo jambalaya. Drink now through 2028.
